You might have heard of this new wave of neo-bistros in Paris : Septime, Verjus, l’Office…The look and feel is similar to a traditional bistro but the food is much better. Well, I finally decided to try one of their lunches at l’Office.
I started with a main meal : very tender chicken with carrots, turnips, cranberries and some of those old veggies we had forgotten : the “rutabaga”. My favourite part of the meal though was the dessert : an unexpected combination of a chocolate ganache with a lambrusco sorbet ! The meals were worth the kind of lenghty wait and the waiters were really friendly. I would certainly recommend the place for a nice lunch, if you are not in a hurry.
