In the heart of the famous Montorgueil area, you will find a discrete and friendly restaurant, on one of the nearby quiet streets. The name of the place was well chosen, it’s called : Stuart Friendly. The place is even friendlier on summers, when you can sit outside on the pedestrian street. This is a place where you can always take your time and would almost forget that you are actually still in Paris.
Inside, the colourful design is stylish and the place is extra clean, which is not always so common in many restaurants. The owners will welcome you with a smile. Their meals all include fresh products and interesting combinations. The creme brulee with foie gras as a starter is a must. The melting chocolate pudding for dessert was also hard to resist.
The restaurant also serves delicious brunches on weekends and on public holidays. It is best to book in advance as the area is often crowded on weekends.
The address :
Stuart Friendly, 16 rue Marie Stuart, 75002 Paris
good to know….i find that area so hit and miss so I’m always looking for a sure thing restaurant.
I know what you mean. It’s not easy to find a friendly restaurant that doesn’t serve overpriced food around there. I definitely recommend Stuart Friendly.
